JOHANNESBURG - Former SAA board chair, Dudu Myeni's cross-examination continues on Tuesday.

The former SAA board chair has faced tough questions on why she refused to sign an Airbus swop deal. That was despite a clear instruction from then-Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene to do so.

Myeni is claiming there was a new board resolution to bring in an African leasing company, because it would be too costly otherwise.

The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse and the South African Airways Pilots Association accuse Myeni of plunging the national carrier into financial chaos when she was its chairperson.

They want the court to declare her a delinquent director.
