JOHANNESBURG - Ministers serving in the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC) will brief the media on the regulations relating to the COVID-19 Level 2 restrictions on Monday.

The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will lead the briefing.

This after President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation on Saturday, on progress in the national effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

South Africa's COVID-19 death toll is at 11,839.

SA lockdown: ANC welcomes move to Level 2

According to the Health Department, 8 out of every 10 people who've tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered.

The recoveries are now at 472,377, translating to a recovery rate of 80%.
