Ramaphosa will likely outline the importance of the mission and what’s expected of them.

The soldiers will be joining their police counterparts on the frontline to enforce the lockdown.

COVID-19: Ramaphosa calls for National Day of Prayer

President Cyril Ramaphosa is calling on all South Africans to observe two-minutes of prayer or silent meditation.

The national day of prayer will be held on the eve of the 21-day national lockdown.

Ramaphosa says the prayer should be held between 18:00 and 18:30 on Thursday.
