JOHANNESBURG - Seven suspects will appear in court on Thursday on charges related to the VBS Mutual Bank heist.
Among those arrested, the former VBS chairperson and other board members – who stand accused of cooking the books.
The arrests relate to R122-million stolen, just a fraction of the R3-billion siphoned from the bank.
On Wednesday 10 premises were raided in Gauteng and Limpopo.
Eight people arrested.
Seven suspects are expected to appear in the high court sitting at the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court, while one suspect remains in COVID-19 quarantine.
