JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance is analysing its drop in voter support.

The DA's Makashule Gana said party leader Mmusi Maimane cannot be blamed alone for its election results.

The party lost about half a million voters, losing five parliamentary seats.

Gana said the entire DA leadership needs to account for the decline in support.

“We need to account all of us but I will not start the analysis of the election by saying Mmusi that must go,” Gana said.

“That will be a wrong way of analysing, we need to look at the election in its totality.”
