Maimane: 'Ramaphosa benefitted under Zuma'

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa's State of the Nation Address is being debated in Parliament.

A big issue will be Eskom's split.

JOHANNESBURG - The leader of the opposition Democratic Alliance Mmusi Maimane says President Cyril Ramaphosa must not absolve himself of responsibility from the problems that occurred under Jacob Zuma's rule.

That’s because he was there and also benefitted, he said.

President Cyril Ramaphosa's State of the Nation Address has been debated in Parliament.

Maimane said, "Let’s be honest, while those years were being wasted in SA, it was not waste for the ANC. These were the golden years for the green yellow and gold."
