Maimane responds to Mashaba, Zille's controversial tweets

JOHANNESBURG - Troublesome tweets, deals in the dark and an apparent shift in economic policies have all brought negative attention to the official opposition party and the Democratic Alliance (DA) is left scrambling to present a united front.

One man has to convince South Africans that the DA has its act together. Mmusi Maimane maintains that the DA is focused on the presidential election despite the various scandals affecting the party.

Maimane said he would like to shift away from the issue of Helen Zille's most recent social media misstep, allow the Equality Court to deal with it and move forward.
