JOHANNESBURG - Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane could be on the verge of stepping down.
eNCA has been reliably informed that Maimane will resign.
On Monday, Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba also resigned from his position.
The DA's organisational review panel recently described Maimane as inconsistent, indecisive and conflict-averse.
The panel recommended training for leaders on how to lead a diverse group of people.
