Makhura to follow up on Naledi electricity promises

JOHANNESBURG - According to Eskom, people in Naledi, Soweto will have electricity by 27 November.

The Soweto residents disrupted by-elections in protest at not having had electricity for six months due to a burnt mini-substation.

Gauteng Premier, David Makhura has promised to follow-up on the matter with the power utility.

The EFF's Mbuyiseni Ndlozi intervened earlier on Wednesday morning and asked residents to take their frustrations out on government with their votes, not the IEC.
