JOHANNESBURG - The ANC must manage the step-aside resolution processes carefully, that's according to ANC National Executive Committee member, Hlengiwe Mkhize.

Mkhize spoke to eNCA at the funeral of the late former deputy minister of Trade and Industry Elizabeth Thabethe.

Mkhize says the integrity of the party needs to be protected at all costs - while enforcing one of the most difficult resolutions.

Criminally charged ANC members have been given 30 days to step aside – failing which they’ll be suspended.

Ekurhuleni ANC regional chair, Mwandile Masina says the step-aside resolution is comprehensive and mustn’t be quoted selectively.

eNCA’s Siphamandla Goge shares more details in the video above.
