Matric pupils anxious about prelims

Is the matric class of 2021 prepared enough for their preliminary exams? They’re expected to sit for their prelims in about a month’s time but the three-week disruption because of lockdown alert level four – has made them feel uncertain and anxious. eNCA's Masego Rahlaga spoke to some pupils at a school in Pretoria. JOHANNESBURG - The matric class of 2021 is expected to sit for their preliminary exams in about a month’s time.

But the three-week disruption because of lockdown alert level four – has made them feel uncertain and anxious.

Others are concerned about their peers in more disadvantaged schools.

The matric pupils say they are helping each other.

And are hoping they do well enough to get accepted into university and study in the fields in which they want to work.
