JOHANNESBURG - The body of Khayalethu Magadla has finally been found.

The six-year-old fell into an uncovered manhole in Dlamini, Soweto on 12 June while playing with friends.

Several Emergency Management Services teams spent two weeks looking for him before eventually handing the search over to Joburg Water a few days ago.

The boy’s family had told eNCA that they had accepted he would not be found alive but wanted to lay his body to rest.
