CAPE TOWN - Four friends died in a hail of bullets in broad daylight on a street in Mitchells Plain on Saturday.
The one who was lucky to escape, sustained bullet wounds.
This is the second shooting in the area in two days.
On Thursday, two boys were killed in Beacon Valley, just a few kilometres from Saturday’s incident.
Some believe both attacks are related to gang initiations.
Residents say they heard multiple gunshots and when they went to look, some discovered their loved ones among the dead.
Police are appealing for any information about the shooting.
