JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa says mob attacks aren't the answer to dealing with illegal miners.
Residents from several areas on Gauteng's West Rand went on the rampage against zama zamas after the brutal gang rape of eight women at a Krugersdorp mine dump a week ago.
Kagiso residents meanwhile say there's not enough visible policing.
Ramaphosa was addressing the last day of the Presidential Social Sector Summit.
The event looks for solutions to reduce poverty and inequality.
