JOHANNESBURG - South Africa must reposition itself to get rid of corruption, said Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng.

Mogoeng denied the judiciary is captured -- as recently claimed by EFF leader Julius Malema -- after a number of losses in court.

The Chief Justice said the judiciary will remain independent and criticised Malema for referring to judges as 'traumatised old people'.
