Workers from Durban's Expanded Public Works Programme are demanding salary increases which she allegedly promised.
DURBAN - Embattled eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede is facing yet another challenge.
Workers from Durban's Expanded Public Works Programme are marching in the city centre.
They're demanding salary increases which Gumede allegedly promised.
The workers allege that they've been paid just over R3000 per month since 2008.
Earlier this week, Gumede was released on R50,000 bail after being accused of fraud and corruption.
The charges relate to her alleged role in a dodgy refuse removal contract.
Despite the charges, Gumede is adamant she'll stay in her job.
