JOHANNESBURG - Former SABC COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng is taking no responsibility for the chaos at the SABC.

A report from a commission of inquiry into editorial interference found he treated staff with disdain.

The commission identified former Communications Minister Faith Muthambi, SABC board member, Ellen Tshabalala and Motsoeneng as the main culprits.

The report recommends a review of all Motsoeneng's decisions to promote or discipline staff.

However, Motsoeneng has described the report as nonsensical.

“I am the first person at the SABC to make sure that all employees are treated fairly,” he said.

“The workers at the SABC were all happy. This is a journey of people tarnishing our name. I did transform the SABC and I don’t apologise. All the decisions I have taken, I stand by the decisions.”
