JOHANNESBURG - A Community Policing Forum member in Mthwalume on KwaZulu-Natal's South Coast has confirmed the discovery of human remains in the area.
Lucky Bhuyeni says the gruesome find was made by a resident this morning.
This takes the body count up to six in the last four months.
The bodies of five other females have been found in the vicinity.
They were dumped in the cane fields, sparking fears that a serial killer might be on the loose in the area.
Two suspects were detained days before Police Minister Bheki Cele visited the community.
Then KZN Community Safety MEC Bheki Ntuli confirmed that the suspect who committed suicide in custody indicated that there might be more bodies.
