JOHANNESBURG - MTN will be reducing its data prices on Friday.
This comes after the telecoms giant reached a deal with the Competition Commission.
Last year, the commission announced data prices from the country's mobile networks are overpriced.
MTN customers can now expect to R99 for 1 GB of data per month.
Users will also be able to manage their data use at no additional cost, through the company's website.
