Mulaudzi resigns as Hawks spokesperson

JOHANNESBURG - Hawks spokesperson, Hangwani Mulaudzi has resigned in the wake of a lottery scandal.

Mulaudzi's foundation received R3-million from the National Lotteries Commission, to establish a sports centre in Limpopo.

Mulaudzi has been reported as saying he has no real influence in the Hawks, nor is he the sole director of the foundation.

The Democratic Alliance has however claimed there is a clear conflict of interest.
