JOHANNESBURG - Murder-accused Nomia Rosemary Ndlovu says she took out a policy for her deceased boyfriend Maurice Mabasa because she was advised to do so.

The former police officer stands accused of killing five relatives and her lover.

She then claimed from insurance companies after their deaths.

The case was adjourned for the day as Ndlovu said she is not feeling well.

The trial will resume on Friday.
