DURBAN - Thousands of temporary educators and school assistants hired during December have not been paid.
As part of the Presidential Employment Stimulus Programme, Basic Education hired close to 300,000 staff to support teachers and help schools comply with Covid-19 protocols.
The department says those who haven't been paid will receive double salaries this month.
