Nehawu begins TVET, CET strike

JOHANNESBURG - Nehawu says it will shut down all TVET and CET colleges across the country on Thursday.

The union says the shutdown will continue until their demands are met.

Khaya Xaba, Nehawu spokesperson said, "the 50 TVET colleges and 230 campuses all of those workers will report for duty today but will not go into the premises.

"There will be a total shut down and no teaching will take place. The strike will run indefinitely up until our demands are met when our demands are met workers will go back to work."
