JOHANNESBURG - The National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union (Nehawu) isn't buying government’s argument that there’s no money for an above-inflation wage increase.

Government wants to renege on the final year of a three-year agreement signed in 2018 as it looks to cut the public sector wage bill.

The union says its health workers are also not being adequately protected on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.
