No load-shedding for Sunday

Rating agency S&P has revised Eskom's outlook to stable from negative and also affirmed the power utility's credit rating.

JOHANNESBURG - There will be some relief for power-starved South Africans as Eskom confirmed that there will be no load-shedding on Sunday. 

The power utility implemented stage two load-shedding on Saturday and will continue to do so until 11pm.

Eskom says power system remains right and vulnerable and that it'll update the public should there be any changes. 

The power utility's urging customers to switch off geysers, lighting, and appliances.

Earlier this week, President Cyril Ramaphosa admitted that the power outages are a national crisis.
