Former Bosasa heavyweight Angelo Agrizzi concluded his testimony on state capture on Friday.
JOHANNESBURG - Bosasa paid for various functions, including a State of the Nation Address (Sona) after-party, according to Angelo Agrizzi.
Agrizzi wrapped up his testimony at the state capture inquiry.
He also says the company sponsored tickets for politicians to attend events such as Jazz festivals.
"Often I'd be annoyed because we would get requests to pay thousands for functions," he testified.
"Our president said no after-parties after the Sona. We actually paid for a full after party of Sona."
"We paid for the Sona, everything, at Cubana. It cost us hundreds of thousands of rand. I used to get very upset."
Agrizzi also implicated ANC MP and Parliament's House Chair for Committees, Cedric Frolick, in the Bosasa scandal.
He says Bosasa CEO Gavin Watson had instructed him to arrange monthly payments for Frolick.
This was to allegedly motivate him in persuading ANC MP Vincent Smith to side with Bosasa.
