JOHANNESBURG - The NPA says Zuma's legal team has not provided documents to back its assertion that state prosecutor Billy Downer is biased.
Zuma wants Downer removed from the case.
The NPA's Sipho Ngwema said: "The documents that we have been given makes also sorts of allegations, but we have not been given annexures and sources and confirmatory affidavits around the third parties they're talking about.
"Therefore, you have a document that purports all sort of conspiracy theories with no supporting documentation so we can respond effectively... those are the papers we need so we're able to be in a position to reply effectively to their plea."
