Tshegofatso Pule murder | Accused to reapply for bail

The man allegedly responsible for Tshegofatso Pule's murder is applying for bail again. Nthuthuko Shoba has maintained his innocence. Shoba is due to appear in the Roodepoort magistrate's court this morning. Slindelo Masikane is there. Courtesy #DStv403

JOHANNESBURG - Ntuthuko Shoba is back in the dock at the Roodepoort magistrate's court on Thursday to reapply for bail.

The 31-year-old is accused of being the mastermind behind the murder of Tshegofatso Pule and her unborn baby.

He's denied any part in it, and that he was the child's father.

Shoba has been implicated by the man who admitted to carrying out the murder, Muzikayise Malephane.

He was paid R70,000.

The state is expected to respond to Shoba's new bail application after he entered new evidence including that the person who carried out the killing was, in fact, Pule's boyfriend

Pule's lifeless body was found hanging from a tree in Florida, Johannesburg in June last year.
