PORT ELIZABETH - Pastor Timothy Omotoso is applying for bail at the Port Elizabeth High Court.
He also wants an inquiry into what he calls unreasonable delays.
The Nigerian televangelist has been awaiting trial for three years.
He faces almost a hundred charges, including human trafficking, racketeering and the rape of women and girls from his church.
He also wants the court to dismiss the evidence of the two witnesses who have testified so far.
Omotoso is behind bars while his co-accused Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho are out on bail.
