JOHANNESBURG – One person has died at Harmony Gold’s Kusasalethu mine near Carletonville on Friday morning.
Harmony Gold Mining Company said the worker died after falling from a height while working in the shaft bottom at Kusasalethu mine.
Harmony Gold said an investigation into the incident is underway.
“Management express their deepest condolences to the deceased employee’s family, friends and colleagues,” Harmony Gold Mining Company said in a statement.
