One SA Movement endorses candidates for local elections

Mmusi Maimane said One South Africa Movement won't be instructing independent candidates on how to vote or which contracts to approve in council. JOHANNESBURG - Mmusi Maimane's One South Africa movement has unveiled the first group of independents it has endorsed to contest the local government elections.

The New Horizon Movement is officially registered as a residents association in Emfuleni, and has 45 candidates that will be contesting all the wards.

Maimane has endorsed the movement and its leaders in Sebokeng, saying they comprise regular people and not politicians.

He's also explained how they’re partnering with One South Africa.
