JOHANNESBURG - Convicted killer Oscar Pistorius has met the family of his former girlfriend, whom he shot dead nine years ago.
He's trying to secure an early release from prison.
The Justice and Correctional Services Department says the meeting is part of a Victim-Offender-Dialogue process.
Pistorius has also been transferred back to the Atteridgeville Correctional Facility in Pretoria.
In November last year, the former Paralympian was sent to a prison in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape.
This is for the purpose of the Victim-Offender-Dialogue.
It is not yet clear when Pistorious’s parole hearing will take place.
