JOHANNESBURG - Plans to resolve the crisis at universities are underway as Higher Education Minister Naledi Pandor is meeting student representatives from various institutions in Pretoria.

This follows protests at a number of universities this week.

Students cited difficulties with registration, lack of accommodation, problems with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme, and historic debt.
