JOHANNESBURG - Alleged parliament arsonist Zandile Mafe is in the High Court in Cape Town on Monday.

He is appealing a decision not to grant him bail.

The 49-year-old is facing multiple charges, including terrorism.

The fire caused untold damage and the State of the Nation address had to be moved to the City Hall.

Mafe denies setting the fire.
