Parliament ready to tackle TB

JOHANNESBURG - Members of Parliament have pledged to become champions in the fight against tuberculosis.

The National Assembly and National Council of Provinces have established the South African Chapter of the Global TB Caucus.

It's a worldwide network of parliamentarians, co-chaired by Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi.

TB is South Africa's biggest killer.

The Health Minister spoke to eNCA from the Cape Town studio.
