JOHANNESBURG - The alleged kingpin behind the Home Affairs passport syndicate remains behind bars.
He was denied bail in the Krugersdorp magistrate's court.
His co-accused were each granted bail of R2,000.
Two Home Affairs officials from the Krugersdorp office are among those arrested for their alleged involvement in selling fraudulent passports and documents reserved for SA citizens.
The matter has been postponed to 5 July for further investigations.
