JOHANNESBURG - Thousands of South Africans attended President Cyril Ramaphosa's inauguration on Saturday at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

The president's swearing-in ceremony was bigger and cheaper than previous such events, as it moved from the Union Buildings to the rugby stadium.

Guests who attended the event include DA leader Mmusi Maimane, EFF leader Julius Malema, former public protector Thuli Madonsela, Mandla Mandela and Cosatu president Zigiswa Losi.
