JOHANNESBURG - At least 49 drunk-driving suspects have been arrested on Johannesburg's N17.
That was during the O Kae Molao operation conducted by the SAPS and metro police.
Officials confiscated alcohol in terms of the Disaster Management Act.
They also made arrests for possession of drugs, unlicensed guns and ammunition.
The Gauteng Police Commissioner Alias Mawela says they're having problems with street parties across the province.
"People are not complying to the regulations," Mawela said.
