CAPE TOWN - Metro police are now escorting MyCiti buses on several routes in Cape Town.
The workers' strike is in its fourth week and at least two buses have been torched.
Buses to Khayelitsha have been suspended, leaving thousands of commuters stranded.
MyCiti workers want better pay and working conditions, and the scrapping of labour brokers.
There have been reports of intimidation and harassment during the strike.
No injuries have been reported.
