JOHANNESBURG - Education authorities have asked police to monitor the area around Johannesburg's Forest High School in Turffontein, as it re-opens on Thursday morning.
A Grade 8 pupil was stabbed to death at the school week.
His alleged killer, a 19-year-old pupil, is expected to make a formal bail application on Thursday morning.
He appeared in the Johannesburg Central Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
The suspect is accused of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
It's alleged he stabbed 3 pupils when they came to the school for revenge.
They were all involved in a feud from last week, the details of which aren't known.
If found guilty, the suspect faces several years in prison.
The State says it won't be opposing bail.
Meanwhile, a memorial service will be held for the deceased pupil later this week.
