CAPE TOWN - Refugees who have taken up residence in the Central Methodist Church in Greenmarket Square in Cape Town are going to be relocated over the next two days.
Police gained entry to the church on Thursday to move the refugees into buses lined up outside the church.
The refugees have said they do not want to be moved to sites identified by the government for the national lockdown period as they would be at risk.
CapeTalk reported the refugees would be relocated to the Wingfield Military Base near Goodwood.
