PP gives Ramaphosa 20 days to act against Gigaba

JOHANNESBURG - The DA has called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to fire Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba after the Public Protector found that he violated the Constitution when he lied under oath.

This relates to the case involving the Oppenheimer family's private terminal at OR Tambo International Airport.

The North Gauteng High Court found that Gigaba had lied when he said he never gave Fireblade the go-ahead to operate the facility.
