CAPE TOWN - President Cyril Ramaphosa has apologised to the family of eight-year-old Tazne van Wyk.
She was kidnapped and murdered, allegedly by 54-year-old man who was out on parole.
Ramaphosa visited her family on Tuesday.
He said the suspect should never have been granted parole to cheers from the crowd.
Ramaphosa said the tragedy showed a problem with the current parole system.
