ULUNDI - Former IFP leader Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi says he thanks God for his full recovery from COVID-19.
The soon-to-be 92-year-old had five tests done and tested positive on the sixth.
He says his existing medical conditions and age caused some concern, but he left it all in God's hands.
"I was surprised when I was told that I was positive. So the doctors immediately said I must isolate.
"They were debating whether I should go to hospital, isolate in quarantine, or in my house. So they finally said I can quarantine in my house," Buthelezi said.
He stated his life was normal throughout the period of isolation and experienced no symptoms.
