JOHANNESBURG - Dr. Kingsley Makhubela, Director at RiskRecon says all South Africans have a right to demonstrate but now is not the time.
He says the mass protest led by the EFF will only dent the already ailing economy.
Makhubela believes it is time for politicians to put their differences aside and find solutions to problems facing the country.
This is as South Africa prepares for the crucial 2024 national elections.
"The bad thing about this kind of civil disobedience is that it disrupts the economic activity of the country," he said.
"The damage that is done is immense, if I were to advise any politicians, this is not the time to really embark on civil disobedience that is disruptive to the economy."
