JOHANNESBURG - The government's 1.5 percent public sector wage increase is not ideal, but it is better than nothing, according to the Federation of Unions of South Africa (FEDUSA).
The organisation says all its affiliates have accepted the proposed increment.
Meanwhile, the Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (Popcru) have rejected the implementation of a new public sector wage deal.
It says the public sector wage increase of 1.5 percent is an insult to the union's members, who are frontline workers.
