JOHANNESBURG - Dr Tim de Maayer has been reinstated.
He is the doctor who was suspended after writing about the poor conditions at the Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital in Johannesburg.
The Gauteng health MEC Nomathemba Mokgethi met with the hospital on Friday.

The management team of the hospital has undertaken to address the issues raised by Dr De Maayer.
The SAHRC will also, on Monday, visit the hospital to explore and monitor the situation and engage with the hospital authorities.
