PRETORIA - Acting National Director of Public Prosecutions, Silas Ramaite, says negative perceptions about the NPA are valid.
Ramaite was the first candidate being interviewed for the position of National Prosecuting Authority head.
He said there's a lack of understanding when it comes to the role of the prosecuting body.
Ramaite, says the NPA head is an officer of the courts first.
