PRETORIA - President Cyril Ramaphosa insisted land expropriation will be conducted in an orderly manner at his address to diplomats in Pretoria on Friday.

He says government is working hard to improve the investment environment and rescue the ailing economy.

The president said, "there's a national debate that's raging in a wonderful way on land reform and indeed it has drawn attention to other counties as well. The process will be done in an orderly manner."

Ramaphosa also thanked countries that helped get South Africa elected onto the UN Security Council and paid tribute to the late former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan during his address.
