Finance Minister Tito Mboweni took to Twitter, saying they aren't going anywhere.

In a statement issued on Saturday afternoon, Ramaphosa said such exchanges on social media are unfortunate and regrettable.

The president urged Mboweni and Makhura to table proposals to the Cabinet on e-tolls by the end of August.
